Wow. We're home.

Wendy was tracking our location and walked out to meet us. It was so good to see her! She really made the trip possible by holding down the fort.

Then we got the BIG welcome home greeting.

We did a first pass at unpacking, we'll return the RV tomorrow. I tackled unloading some of the food, and put the still edible-looking things into the house. We'd brought a lot more than we'd needed.  Originally we'd brought 2 dozen eggs with us, 1 dozen hard boiled. I'd nearly polished off the last hard boiled egg...

Then I realized something– the other eggs, the raw ones, had been from the chickens here at the ranch. We hadn't touched them on our trip. We'd taken a dozen eggs on a 6,000 mile road trip. They're back in the fridge now.

Loo had nothing on these guys

And just like that, it's done. We drove Roberta home.
